ABOUT THE AUTHOR - JAN MAZZONI
It has taken Jan Mazzoni a long time to get around to writing a novel.
Not that she’s new to writing. She has been an advertising copywriter,
both in London and New York, has had over 20 vegetarian cookbooks
published (as Janet Hunt), and sold some 200 short stories and serials
to magazines both in the UK and around the world. She’s written more articles
than she can count.
Writing for her is as natural - and as vital - as breathing.
But novels were the ultimate challenge. They demanded a commitment.
A novel could take over your life and she already had far too much to do,
too many things (often with fur, feathers or spines) needing her attention.
Now, finally, she’s done it.
And as twins run in the family, she’s produced two together.
Jan lives on the edge of the woods in rural Wiltshire (though she can just see her beloved Bath from an upstairs window) with her husband George, Rosie the dog,
and assorted rescued cats and wildlife.
